Cup and Saucer are white with some irradescence, On one side of the cup is an image of the State Capitol building with "Iowa" above it and "State Capitol" below it. There are no other images on the cup. It is gold trimmed around the rim and there are gold accents on the handle. The cup is approximately 2 1/4" tall and 4" wide at the mouth.
The saucer is approximately 6 in diameter, also white with irradescence, and gold trimmed. In the center is "Iowa" with images of the State Capitol, Albert World's Largest Bull, Grotto of the Redemption West Bend, and Hoover's Birthplace West Branch.
There are no maker's marks on the back.
Pieces are in very good condition, no chips, cracks or crazing, a few scratches, scuffing to the bottom of the saucer, and what appears to be an imperfection on the saucer (see images). The cup also has some light wear, scratches, and there is wear to the gold trim.
